Somatic work helps you reconnect with your body’s wisdom - your sensations, needs, patterns, and all the parts of you - so you can build awareness, self-trust, and a felt sense of safety from within.

"Somatics" comes from the Greek word Soma, meaning "the body experienced from within," and this is the foundation of this work. Somatic Experiencing® is a body-based approach that helps you process stress, unresolved experiences, or trauma that may still live in your nervous system and impact your life.

Because most healing happens at the body level - through sensation, imagery, behavior, affect, and meaning - a body-led approach, where your body guides the session, creates space to slow down, notice, feel, and move with your natural rhythms.

This isn’t about fixing or intellectualizing, it’s about reorganizing, integrating, gently letting go of what no longer serves you, and coming back to your most authentic self.

Client-led, body-based, and trauma-informed. That means we move at your pace, your choice and agency guide the work, and we follow what’s alive for you in each moment. My work is:

  • Paced and sustainable. No quick fixes or fast “releases”. We stay present with what your body holds, building long-term awareness and resilience at your unique pace.
  • Nervous-system attuned. There’s no one size fits all. I am attuned to your unique nervous system, uncovering how best to support and repair it.
  • Body-led. Your body leads the way, your mind follows, not the other way around.
  • Non-judgmental. We explore your natural survival responses with curiosity instead of judgment, honouring their purpose.
  • Present over perfect. There’s no “fixing” or doing it “right.” This is about building sustainable trust and resilience within yourself.
  • Relational. A reminder you don’t have to hold it all on your own. You are supported in-session and guided to cultivate capacity and a support system outside of it.
  • Hands-off. This isn’t bodywork, emotional release, or massage. Any supportive therapeutic touch is offered only when needed and within a consent framework.

During our sessions, you’ll be invited to notice and feel what’s happening in your body, with guidance to make sense of it without forcing meaning.

Each session blends body-centered modalities with dialogue tailored to you, your nervous system, and needs. While we’ll include verbal processing, your body’s cues guide the flow through sensations, emotions, imagery, behaviour, affect, and meaning - this helps support integration, not overwhelm.

You might bring a focus for our time together - as a starting point rather than an expectation - or we can tune into whatever shows up in the moment. This might include:

  • Cultivating emotional resilience and nervous system safety
  • Reconnecting with your body and its signals
  • Navigating life situations (relationships, work, etc.)
  • Processing stress and trauma through a somatic lens
  • Identifying patterns, needs, and boundaries
  • Exploring your inner world with curiosity instead of judgment
  • Integrating practical tools to support you in everyday life

1:1 One-hour sessions - available online (worldwide) or in-person in Ericeira, Portugal.

The rhythm of our sessions is shaped around your needs and the level of support you want - weekly, biweekly, or monthly.

  • 70€ online
  • 100€ in person
  • Lower income and flexible pricing: I hold a number of slots to make this work more accessible. If cost is a barrier, you’re welcome to reach out and we can explore what’s possible.
