"Somatics" comes from the Greek word Soma, meaning "the body experienced from within," and this is the foundation of this work. Somatic Experiencing® is a body-based approach that helps you process stress, unresolved experiences, or trauma that may still live in your nervous system and impact your life.
Because most healing happens at the body level - through sensation, imagery, behavior, affect, and meaning - a body-led approach, where your body guides the session, creates space to slow down, notice, feel, and move with your natural rhythms.
This isn’t about fixing or intellectualizing, it’s about reorganizing, integrating, gently letting go of what no longer serves you, and coming back to your most authentic self.
